APPROACHING FROM FAKENHAM

From  roundabout junction of A1065 and A148  on outskirts of Fakenham follow A148 signs to Cromer  Then take first left onto B1105, followed by first left again (all signposted to Wells).

You will enter Wells by Two Furlong Hill where A149 coast road joins at  Burnt St. from. the right.  At the top of the hill the road bends sharply to the left (signposted Holkham).  On this bend there is an ornate Wells town sign.  When you see this, follow the road round to the left but signal right and take 2nd driveway into Claxtons Yard, which is approx. 50 metres from bend.  Number 4 is on the left behind the building with the arched window which fronts Mill Road.   You can park outside the house or in front of the middle garage.

APPROACHING FROM KINGS LYNN ON COAST ROAD (A149)

Travelling towards Wells from this direction you will come past Holkham Hall on your right.  Ignore the first turning to Wells (B1105) and continue on A149 past the Cottage Hospital which will take you into Wells along Mill Road.  Turn left into Claxtons Yard approx. 100 metres after Westfield Ave. and 50 metres before bend and road junction.
